National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority Visits QRI Lahore
Distinguished officials from the National Agri-Trade and Food Safety Authority visited the QRI Lahore laboratory and marketing office. During the visit detailed discussions were held on future prospects and strategic directions for strengthening testing services. Key initiatives of the Ministry of National Food Security and Research Government of Pakistan were also reviewed, with particular emphasis on the role of the Department of Plant Protection. The discussions highlighted the challenges faced by Pakistan’s export products and the measures undertaken by the Department of Plant Protection to enhance its mandate in facilitating export consignments especially agricultural commodities.
QRI with its state-of-the-art facilities and comprehensive range of testing services available under one roof, expressed strong interest in collaboration. The institute reaffirmed its commitment to contributing to future developments and supporting Pakistan’s progress through increased agricultural exports.
